Ina's Wedding and visiting kuching

Ina got married last December. Since we cannot attend the wedding on Din's side (in Penang), we decided to attend the one in Kuching. Ina's always there for me (my E-day, Wedding day,etc), so i guess attending her wedding in Kuching was not such a bad idea. Plus we can go jalan-jalan in Kuching town. So, here's some pictures from ina's solemnization and reception.

After the reception, we went jalan-jalan around Kuching.

At the waterfront, Kuching. The background is the New Sarawak State Legislative Assembly Building (Bangunan Dewan undangan negeriSarawak baru)

Sarawak river taxi. You can pay any amount of money to the taxi driver. Ina said the minimum fare u can give is 50cent. We went across the river to buy some Sarawak's layer cake. Price from rm10. Super cheap and very delish! (btw, we bought Mira's kek lapis)

Kuching's full with temple. Most of must visit place here is the temple. We actually not sure if we can actually go inside the temple or not. So, we just observed it from outside.

When we were walking through Kuching's street, we come across this one unique Bed and Breakfast place. Their wall's full with wishes from their customers(i guess) Even their ceiling have people writing wishes on them!

Aside from that, we also went to Sarawak Cultural village. Located in Santubung, we have to drive around 30-40 minutes from Kuching town to get there. They open at 9am. so, before u get there, it's a very good idea for u to eat breakfast first because the stall/restaurant here doesn't open until 930/10am. The fee is RM60/adult including cultural show.

Inside the village, there actual size house of people of Sarawak. and if u like, you can actually life inside the houses. (They have homestay inside the rmh panjang, rmh melanau etc) Very interesting.

In my opinion, the cultural village visit is ok. The highlight of the visit is the cultural show. But personally, rm60 is too much for that kind of place. just my personal opinion. :)

So that's it for Sarawak entry. im trying to post some picture of my wedding day here but still waiting from cameraman to actually give me the pictures.haha

I and farah went to visit her at Sunway Medical Center. Such a cute little princess! We're so happy for Nadzrah and Dani.

Rasenye da lame gile tak update blog ni. banyak sungguh bende nak cerita tapi, first of all nak story pasal nuzzie baby shower.

Our beloved Nadzrah akan menimang cahaya mata pertamanye on January next year..so, Farah decided to throw her a baby shower.

Details:
DATE: 19 Nov 2011 (Saturday)
VANUE: The loaf Pavillion

2 days before the shower, farah and I went to Sunway pyramid for our lunch date and came out with idea to make a baby shower basket for nadzrah. we bought a very cute pink booties, cute pink shirts, baby lotions, and stuff toy(super cute cow) for the baby. Here's pics of the basket. Farah also bought some sugar cookies shape of stroller and botol susu (i think..xingat la..tapi baby theme la).

FUNNY STORY
As usual, mesti ade funny story everytime meetup dgn kawan2 kan?
This time, the joker is no other than our Ina Mustapha.LOL!

So, we're suppose to meet at The Loaf at 1.00pm and everyone seems to have no problem with that. On the day, only Farah responded to my call n text. So, i tried texting ina and calling her soooooo many time sampai dah xlarat nak call da lah! nobody pick-up. I assumed Ina must be on her way and tertinggal phone or tak dengar phone die bunyi dalam handbag or phone bunyi tapi cari-cari xjumpe (this is sooo ina!-i admit ina is a perfectionist tapi die mmg clumsy gile!haha-sorry ina).

Farah was there first and she already set the table and decorated it as well. Nadzrah arrived around 2.30pm. Ina??= No Show. i decided to call Din(her fiancee) tapi xde his number. Terpaksa text one of my friend first then baru call din. Din??=xtau ina kat mane and what happen to her. So, what happen to Ina?? Was her kidnapped by a muppet??haha. The answer's she totally forgot that we're supposed to meetup that day!!! OMG ina!! haha. then, she started panicking and calling everybody and terus rushing datang pavi from her house. Sampai2 die cakap

'Weh, aku langgar semua org sbb aku kelam-kabut' (plss imagine ina jalan laju2 n langgar semua org which is ramai gila kot hari sabtu kat depan pavillion tu)haha

I called my mum yesterday n she told me that she just 'kissed' somebody car..then, she told me that the person was soooo rude. die keluar dr kereta n start yelling at my mum.

'HEY!!XPANDAI BAWAK KERETA KE!!'

then my mum answered 'x, budak perempuan..sebaya macam akak'

woww..saye faham la kalau2 die terkejut kereta die kene langgar..tapi, xpayah kurang ajar kot..Marah betul saye!!grrr
Saye pn ade jgk experience kereta kene langgar..kemek pintu..tapi xde la saye keluar kereta jerit2 dekat pakcik yg langgar saye tuh..tau jugak la nak jage budi bahase.(lain la kalau mak saye marah or jerit2 kat die dulu kan..time tu xkisah la kalau die nak marah2 sbb saye pn akan buat bende yg same)

Salah satu dari jobscope saye ialah mencari penemuan2 baru tentang drugs yg dihasilkan oleh company saye.Maka, salah satu keje saye ialah membace research paper.Sakit pale woooo..macam kembali belajar dalam kelas advanced immune pn ade..IL-1 lah, IGF-1 lah sme pn nak kene ingat balik function2 mereka.peninnnnn...dah setahun meninggalkan klas so,satu haram pn da tak ingat..hoho...kene la bukak tenet wiki semula bende2 tu tuk refreshkan otak..

last week baru pindah rumah,tapi rumah still sepah tahap dewa dewi kot..dah kate org bekerja..mmg xde mase lah nak kemas2 rumah..balik2 je da tentu2 penat gampang..hoho

Well, minggu ni penyakit malas adalah ditahap kritikal!!
hari isnin, bangun pagi terase malas gile nak gi keje. Takde mood LANGSUNG k..sabar je lah..mood malas menular ke sepanjang minggu..boleh dikatakan hari2 bgn pagi rase malas nak pegi keje..nak ponteeenggg je pikirnye...teruk betul perangai..maybe sebab sedang nak pindah rumah, so barang2 sme dah kemas n mood nak kerje sedikit terganggu...

Anyhow. ade sedikit excited lah nak pindah ke rumah baru..its a studio house, so a bit small but big enough for 1 or 2 person to live.hee..ade lah sket2 idea nak decorate the house.once dah pindah n decorate the house, i'll be uploading the pic here....

Maka pada suatu hari, saye pergi bekerja seperti biase. Setibanye di hospital Z, saye pn pergi lah ke wad orthopedik.Seperti hari2 sebelumnye, saye berase malas untuk bekerja.Ditambah pula dengan bilangan pesakit yg amat ramai,tak cukup2 tempat nak duduk,(heran sunggu..ramai betol org kat mesia nih sakit tulang) saye pn mengambil keputusan untuk pegi jumpe MO(medical officer) sahaje..Last2 dapat jumpe 2 org je..Pastu da tak larat nak layan, balik la umah...

Nak dijadikan cerita, salah seorang daripada doktor yg saye jumpe tuh telah mengambil keputusan untuk memessage saye (message no opis k..tak kuase nak bg personal number kat client).Pada mulanye, msg2 yg diberi adelah bersifat nak bekenalan dan berkawan secara baik. Saye pn melayan lah dgn sopan sbb beliau adelah seorg doktor.Saye fikir, apelah salahnye berkawan dgn die..manelah tau esk2 hari beliau boleh membantu saye dengan kerja saye...

TETAPI

Setelah dilayan, doktor ni semakin menjadi2 pulak..msg2 yg diberikan sudah berunsur lucah dan kurang ajar..antaranye

jangan lah buat perangai seperti ini.Janganlah memandang kitorg2 yg bekerja sebagai product specialist ataupn medical rep ni takde maruah diri.suke2 ati korang je nak cakap ape korang suke pasal kitrg. mmg lah kitorg ni promote2 dan mengharapkan doktor2 menyokong n menggunakkan product kitorg.tapi tak bermakna korang leh menghina kitorg suka suki atuk korang..(haa..kan dah marah!).Sedarlah sikit..korang tu keje jadi DOKTOR!org kat luar tuh memandang tinggi kerje yang korang buat..kerje mulia..menolong org sakit..tapi, disebabkan nila setitik, rosaklah susu sebelanga...isyk2...DOKTOR,doktor,tak tau lah saye nak cakap ape lagi...lantak kau lah..

nak telan air liur pn tak leh...dah la boss tibe2 sruh gi buat presentation arini..mmg tak sempat nak prepare langsung..Sebaik sahaja boss bgtau kene bagi talk, kelam kabut gi buat slide show..Sakit ati dok opis takde tenet,gi keluar makan ngn tot sayang..pastu balik umah sambung wat keje..(hahaha..)
Btw, mmg rase tanak la sesangat buat presentation arini..tapi menguatkan semangat gak gi opis n then gi ke Hospital Angkatan Tentera Tuanku Mizan for the presentation. Nasib baik mase presentation die tak buat hilang suare kalau tak, tak tau la ape yg akan terjadi kat presentation tu..huhu

Tengah time keje ni sebenarnye. tapi disebabkan opis takde internet, (baru pindah opis baru sebenarnye) TERPAKSElah gi McD n gune wifi mcD wat keje..haha...mmg selalu pegi pn sebenarnye..tapi alang2 da ade keje, bawak la laptop skali gi mcD ni..Sambil2 buat keje leh la mengcheck facebook, mengupdate blog yg da lame gile tak update dan tgh2 email.huhu..
Kat rumah bukannye takde tenet,ade je tapi mmg tak sempat kot...dah balik2 je menjalankan tanggungjawap memasak, mengemas dan berbagai2 meng lagi...makenye mmg tak sempat la nak check facebook ke update blog ke..ym pn da lame gile tak online...

Btw, last 2 week balik melaka dapat lagi letter panggil gi amik exam ptd for the second time. First time tak dapat, rase2 ade ke peluang second time ni??cam agak tak yakin pade diri sendiri gak la...huhu

Walaubagaimanapn, buku malaysia kita dah pn dibeli dgn penuh semangat(walaupn sedikit marah sbb buku tu cam mahal gak..nak bacenye sekali je kot) dan da separuh buku pn bace..masuk ke tak masuk dalam otak ni belakang kire..janji bace k..hahaha

i am updating my blog while working.
work=fine tapi cam agak2 blur lagi everytime masuk office. eventho ade workstation yg best, saye adelah sangat jarang berade didalam office kerane asyik2 kene keluar field. penaaatt!hee..tapi leh balik awal!!haha..ari2 pn leh balik kol 4ptg.huhu. kalau dok office pkl 530 baru leh balik.sampai rmh tak tentu lagi pkl berape.
anyway, saye boleh la tahan happy ngn job saye. still menyesuaikan diri lagi.
tomorrow kene gi field sesorang. agak menggigil gak la kepala lutut. tapi saye akan bertahan sedaya upaya tuk pergi sorang2, ,pastu balik keje awal.haha.

btw, tak lame lagi nak new year...HAPPY NEW YEAR ppl!!!(manela tau kalau2 tak sempat nak tulis2 blog lagi before newyear nnt)..hee

Setelah berbulan2 duduk kat rmh sorang2, termenung, tengok tv, tv tgk saye balik, pastu makan, tgk tv lagi, akhirnye saye dapat gak keje. Position: Product Specialist. Keje dgn pharmaceutical company. Alhamdulillahhhhhhh..Memang da sangat tak tahan da duduk kat rumah tak buat ape2. Rase cam da hampir2 nak dilanda depression k. sindrom2 cam da ade da. kadang2 duduk kat rumah leh jadi nangis sorang2 k. tak tahannnnnn...nasib baik la da dapat keje. kalau stress pn, stress yg sihat sket. takde la duduk kat rmh sorang2, tak keluar rmh, mmg literally da jadi katak bawah tempurung.huhu

Last monday da pegi office sebenarnye. tapi tak start lagi la. masuk2 je die da bg ade la 6-7 research untuk bawak balik bace kat rumah. setakat ni ade la 2 muka surat saye bace.hahaha..da tak jadi student, da tak rajin nak membace research paper..huhu..tapi takpe la..arini nnt saye akan try abiskan 2-3 paper. nampak cam mencuba sket.btw, training start Thursday. maybe akan pegi follow one of the worker pegi hospital and observe camne diorang buat keje. we'll see.

okie dokie..tak sabar nak start tinggalkan rumah dan tidak depress didalam rumah lagi ni..huhu

Diam tak diam hari ni da masuk raye ke -5(sambil bilang hari ngn jari..huhu). Raye kali ni terase best sedikit berbanding raye2 4 tahun lepas mainly sbb saye raye kat Malaysia. Eventho da tak terase sangat rayenye sbb da besar,(plus tak dapat duit raye dah) tp seronok la jgk. Kumpul ramai2 kat rmh makjah(venue tetap nih). Pagi2 mak ngn ucu dah keluar gi shopping barang. Saye malas nak follow sbb saye tau bukannye ade kegunaan kalau saye follow pn. Balik2 rmh makjah, sme org bergotong royong membersihkan itik(kecuali saye..eww huhu).Pastu siap2kan barang for rendang etc.Menu raye kali ni
1)Rendang Itik
2)Briyani Gam
3)Sambal Udang Terbaik
4)Ketupat (ni ketupat daun k..takde segera2)
5)Lemang (pn tak segera2)

Masak sampai pagi ok. Pukul 4 baru tido. Sakan jugak la.Pagi2 raye pkl 630 da kene jerit ngn mak sruh bgn smayang mandi2 sme. Sme org siap2 keluar rmh pkl 730 for smayang raye. Keluar awal sbb nk pegi masjid besar. Balik2 smayang sme org mencekik ngn best nye. Bentang tikar kat bawah, makan ramai2.Hee..

Petang, kitorang bertolak pegi Muar. Beraye rmh Makyai plk. Kali ni, melantak ketupat palas ngn roti jala. Terbaik jgk la.Asyik makannn je raye2 ni. Balik rmh mak jah, makan lagi sekali briyani gam...haha

Tu baru raye first je..berjalan sane sini raye ni..agak puas jgk la sbb da 4 thn tak jumpe sedara mara..sampai ade yg da tak kenal..huhu..till next time

Maaannnnn..lame gile tak update...ini semua salah rumah yg takde tenet!mmg tak update pape langsung..hee
for the past 2 months saye telah pn menjadi penduduk damansara..hehe..saje2 beralih angin (sebenarnye nak dekat ngn en.bf).Oleh kerana takde keje, tanah kat damansara ni pn tak cukup nak buat kebun tuk mengisi mase lapang, maka saye pn membuat part-time kat Curve di kedai yang bername Debenhams..haha..org yg gile beli baju finally keje kat kedai baju.Keje tak susah tapi bosan tahap dewa nak2 lagi kalau weekdays sbb tak ramai org datang kedai..tak sanggup nak menahan kebosanan itu, saye pn berenti 3 hari lepas..muahahaha...
walaubagaimane pn, keje kat situ enjoy la..dapat jumpe ramai artis2 shopping, dapat buat kawan baru, dan paling penting, saye jadi bosan tgk baju dah tanak shopping baju dah!haha

btw, antara aktiviti2 yang sempat dirakam sepanjang saye tak update blog saye:

well, beberape activity menarik berlaku last week. first, CITRAWARNA MALAYSIA NIGHT!! bgn seawal 9 pagi tuk bersiap2..pegi web auditrium dan membantu insan2 melayu membuat persiapan dan menghias2 stage. we're supposed to rehearse twice tetapi disebabkan kelembapan tech crew membuat keje, kitorang leh rehearse sekali je.

anyway, everything went GREEEEEEAAATTT!!!pegawai MARA and JPA pn datang tgk kitorang. MSD officer jugee..thank youu!!! seperti biase, kak ani memanggil2 'ajiemmuah!ajiemmuah!' bile nampak ajiemmuah..lol..

ok2..now updates...just finished GE exam yesterday..word for GE-->BUSUKKK!!exam panjang gampang tapi jawap 50 minutes je...by the time Dr. Rothman cakap 'u have 20 minutes left' i have 4 empty pages that i need to fill with correct answers. da camne nak jawap betul2 bile tangan menggigil2 otak vibrate2 sebab takut tak sempat jawap???again....GE busuuuuuuukkkk!!!!!

*GE ialah singkatan for Genetic Engineering..cool la konon..huhu*

ok...then, Naddy datang melawat kami di RIT last week!!yaaayyy to naddy!!heeee..tapi sempat je tinggalkan kitorang jap tuk jalan2 kat nyc..takpe2...the last night naddy was here we played Deal or No Deal board game. i won $10 000. wooooo..hampir2 nak dapat $1.nasib baik tangan bertuah pilih case ade $10 000! ina plak dpt 1 mill!kureengg! she had to choose between a case worth $5 and $1 mil. case number 17 and 23. i told her to choose 23 since it was my birthday and she got 1 mill!!!ina, sorry to say, but i'm the reason u won 1 mill..hahaha

NYC trip was fun. This will be my last trip to NYC before heading back to Malaysia for good...sedihnye da nak abis studyyy..Most of the time kitorang gi shopping..waaaa...bankruptcy on the waayy..
First day activity= Urban outfitters @14th street, Marc by marc jacobs and Magnolia Bakery!!
I bought matching shirt for me and Shukri, necklace, and Flipflop for 6 bux!heee..happyyy! afterwards, ina belanja Magnolia cupcakes..kami sangat la terpengaruh dgn Sex and The City!
then, we head up to 42street and went to quicksilver, hardrock cafe, and toys 'r' us.

So, this is my first entry of the blog.welcome to mee..hihi
Been thinking 'bout starting a blog for a while but i was just too lazy.
Since i just finished my finals for winter quarter and have nothing better to do, tulis blog laaa..=)
Tadi baru lepas makan dinner with Raimi,Hanis, Ackie n Ina. Hanis masak nasik lemak with ayam berempah + sotong tempura and ina make dessert*indian dessert with unknown name*haha
kitorang try to gather once a week since amy ajak kitorang makan homemade pizza die yg super duper sedap. Last week buat ayam panggang and Thai ice tea. sedih pulak bile fikir2 balik tinggal 1 quarter je lagi kat RIT. gonna miss this place sooo much!
